Through the Month of April, Individuals at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines are eligible to apply for the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program facilitated through the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program. Persons in Dubuque, Delaware, Jones and Jackson counties can download an application and get complete information at www.hacap.org/energy
Carnegie-Stout Public Library Free Holiday Food Pantry
The Carnegie-Stout Public Library is offering a free food pantry to the public through January 30th during regular library hours. Anyone in need is welcome to take items from the pantry. If you would like to make a donation of canned goods or dry packaged foods, you can leave them with a staff member at any library service desk.
Kid’s Fine Arts Programming at the Dubuque Salvation Army.
Kid’s Fine Arts Programming will start in February at the Dubuque Salvation Army. Ballet for those 5 and older will start February 2 and Drumming will start February 3rd. This is planned to be a 9 week session. Winter Arts Snow Sculpting Festival
The annual Winter Arts Snow Sculpting Festival is set for February 10th thru the 13th in Dubuque’s downtown Washington Park at 700 Locust St. Sculptors will begin their work on Wednesday and have through noon on Saturday to transform their 288 cubic feet block of snow into a work of art. There is no charge to visit the park to view the progress throughout the week. (The winning team will have the opportunity to represent the state at the 2022 U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, WI)

Caregiver Support Group for Caregivers of Dementia Patients/Family Members
